24 weeks pregnant and Matt loving to fly

Isnt he so cute in his flight suit? Matt had his promotion on Friday. He isn't the most junior guy on base anymore. He is offically a 1st lieutenant. One afternoon Matt was walking around the house for about an hour with his helmet and gear on. The dedication this guy has. If they tell him to do it, Guess what he does it! He is doing to good with his studying. He has heard great things about his knowledge and flying so far. He is a little frustrated right now because he hasn't go to fly for over a week and is just really ready to get back in the air. He says he can study the same material only so many times and is just ready to apply what he is learning. I joke with Matt as his body gets in better shape, I lose my shape. He looks better and I pack on the pounds. YES I know its for the baby, but last time I checked you cary a baby in your belly so why does everything else have to grow.... On the beach at 24 week...I really need to retire my bikini, but I dont want maternity swim suit tan lines..haha It is really fun to start feeling my little man inside me. He has been kicking like crazy! The other day Matt and I went to the river to go fishing. We were sitting on the side of the river, and everytime a boat or jet ski went past us baby Wilckens would start moving and kicking like crazy. I think he already likes the water. He also gets really active when we are singing at church. Now thats a mystery I will not be able to figure out. We all know that Matt and I both can't carry a tune, so why does this baby love music so much? We already know he won't be able to sing unless God performs a miracle! hehe

23 Week.

Here are some side shots of my growing belly!
Matts Grandparents came in town for their yearly Golden eagles banquet. We were so lucky to be invited to join them. It was so much fun to get to spend time with them and meet alot of their friends. It was really good for me being a new military wife to hear all the wonderful stories the other women had to share. I took down lots of pointers! We also got to bring them up to Milton and show them our house and go to dinner the next night. It is always so much fun when family comes to town.
