Marine Corps Birthday Ball..Matt and I had our first date since Cross was born. He is was five weeks old and its was so hard to leave him, but we did have a good time.

Morning naps with mommy We just got out his play center yesterday nd he loves it. Cross started smiling alot this week. Now he thinks I am so funny or either funny looking.

Look how long he is..He is taking naps in his own bed..What a big boy. He loves to lay in mommys bed in the mornings and cuddle with her.

Go navy!!! He is starting at an early age to cheer for navy and watch football with his daddy! Cross and Mommy are buddies We have been so blessed. Cross is already on a schedule. He is such a good baby...We put him down around 10:30 at night and he only gets up at 4:30or 5:00 for a short feeding and back to bed until 8:00 am. How wonderful! He is offically 5 weeks old today so for his 5 week birthday his daddy made me put him in his Crib for the first time last night. I was so nervous and scared and went in his room 3 times to check to make sure he was okay it that big ol crib. Yes yes he was fine as expected, and slept wonderfully. He likes his room, but mommy feels a little sad about him leaving the bassinet in our room. I know its so much better this way. Matt and I can actually talk in bed without waking up the baby.
