So Matt got on to me the other day by saying the blog is nothing but CROSS and I needed to put more about us. I told him people only cared about what was going on with Cross, but I would try to do better so here it goes. All kidding aside Matt is two weeks away from finishing his first part of training to being a Osprey pilot. We are about to move back to Florida for about 5 months so Matt can finish all his training. He will get his Wings in Florida and we will be off to North Carolina in Oct. I am just loving being a mommy. I get to play with Cross all day everyday. SO much fun..However, I am looking into the Dental Hygiene program in NC for Aug of 09. I know it will be a sacrafice going to school while I have a baby(or Babies), but it will be great for our future. I went last weekend to Matt's parents for my sister in laws bridal shower. It was so good to be up there and have girl time with mom and Kate without Matt. I got to have so many good conversations and a wonderful time, but really was glad to be back home with my hubby. We just fit together. I love being home with him. It is such a great feeling to know I have such a wonderful husband and child. People keep asking when we are going to have another baby..My answer...when the Good Lord decides I should be pregnant. Lets just say we are not stopping anything. Cross man is so cute. He can say momma and da da but only when he wants to say it, but will say ba ba whenever you ask. He has been doing the inch worm crawl for about a month, but can now offically Crawl the correct way, once again, when he wants to. So thats us in a nut shell...When somthing else comes up that in new or exciting we will put it up. God Bless You All!

So Matt has been wanting his own dog for so long. Even though he likes our 3 pound yorkie Riley he thinks he is a girly dog. I have been hearing "I want a MAN'S dog" for the past two years. I told Matt that once we had our own house in North Carolina with a back yard he could finally get HIS dog. Well I am a softy! We went to petsmart to LOOK at the dogs that the humane society brought over that day and came home with a beautiful lab girl that we named Sadie. The reason we got her is because she is perfect! We watched kids walk by her and pull all over her and poke her and she didn't care. She is not super hyper like most labs and is not a real barker. She fits right into our family. Her and Cross have become best friends. I will put Cross down on the floor to play by himself and he will start to fuss then here comes Miss Sadie to make him feel better. She comes right up to him and lays as close as she can to him and lets him do whatever he needs to her to be entertained..pull,poke,push,climb,grab,peak-a-boo..you name it and Cross does it.

So being the mom I am I said no sweets for Cross until his first Birthday. He is 7 months and I have done a good job. Well.....We while we were in Maryland this past weekend with the Wilckens family Poppy thought Cross needed a cupcake. The poor child didn't know what he had been missing all this time. He ate the entire cupcake in 2.5 seconds. Poor thing for the next 5 minutes he kept putting things in his mouth hoping it would be a cupcake. It was so cute! Gotta love the grandparents..They get to do the things to spoil the kids that parent don't allow. It was alot of fun to watch. No wonder Cross loves his Poppy so much...:)

Cross loves his uncle Andy and his poppy. He loves that uncle Andy gets down on the floor with him and does whatever he needs to make him smile. Its so fun to watch the two of them. Now he is a total poppy's boy. At Kate's Bridal shower he wanted to be with his Poppy. He felt like such a big boy doing whatever his poppy was doing and eating whatever his poppy gave him....even if it was NOT normally what mommy would feed him..hahah
